Each treatment includes my clinic-formulated Barrier Support Serum, specifically developed to support optimal recovery following collagen induction therapy.

This professional recovery formula is included with your treatment and provided for at-home use during the critical healing phase.

It is designed to:

• Support skin barrier repair
• Maintain hydration during recovery
• Calm visible redness
• Promote a controlled healing environment

Clients are instructed to apply the serum frequently during the first 5–7 days after treatment to protect the skin while collagen remodeling begins beneath the surface.

This is not a generic moisturizer — it is a targeted post-procedure recovery formula created to complement and enhance your results.

Aftercare is an extension of the treatment itself.

What to Expect After Treatment

Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear red and feel warm — similar to a moderate sunburn.

You may experience:

• Redness for 24–72 hours
• Mild swelling or tightness
• Temporary sensitivity
• Dryness or light flaking between days 2–5
• Mild pinpoint bruising

These responses are normal and part of the healing process.

Collagen stimulation continues beneath the surface for weeks after your session.

Pre-Treatment Requirements

To ensure safe and optimal results:

• Discontinue prescription retinoids and over-the-counter retinol products at least 5 days prior
• Avoid exfoliating acids or active skincare for 5 days prior
• Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment
• Arrive with clean skin and no makeup
• Clients must not be pregnant
• Treatment will be postponed if you are experiencing active illness, skin infection, sunburn, or recent tetracycline-class antibiotic use

A full medical intake and screening form is required prior to treatment.

Post-Treatment Care

For the first 24–48 hours:

• Avoid makeup
• Avoid sweating, intense workouts, saunas, and heat exposure
• Avoid touching or picking at the skin

For 5–7 days:

• Avoid retinoids, acids, exfoliants, and active products
• Use only gentle cleanser and your provided Barrier Support Serum
• Apply mineral sunscreen daily once reintroduced
• Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning

Detailed written aftercare instructions are provided following your appointment.

Treatment Frequency

Sessions are typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart.

A series of treatments may be recommended for acne scarring, advanced texture concerns, or more significant skin changes.
